The SDV is a groundbreaking platform that empowers users to create their own generative AI models for tabular and structured data. SDV has already garnered over 1 million downloads, with thousands of users and boasts a thriving community of 1,000+ Slack members. SDV is rapidly gaining traction across various enterprise use cases, including software testing, scenario generation, and many more. We are a team of adventurous former MIT grads with past experience at YouTube, Palantir, Alteryx among others.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Product Designer to join our team. As a Product Designer at DataCebo, you will be responsible for shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge platform, SDV, and contributing to various design and user experience initiatives across the organization. This multifaceted role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced startup environment and make a significant impact on the design of our innovative products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • User-Centric Design: Collaborate closely with our users to deeply understand their needs and meet them with intuitive, visually appealing, and functional design solutions.
  • UX/UI Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that enhance the usability and accessibility of SDV.
  • Visual Branding: Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for DataCebo and SDV across our marketing materials, our web presence, and other digital assets.
  • Iterative Design: Marshal user feedback and data-driven insights to continually iterate on designs, to improve usability and user satisfaction.
  • Design Systems: Help develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and design documentation to ensure design consistency and scalability.
  • Multi-disciplinary Projects: Embrace the diverse nature of startup life by working on a wide range of design-related tasks, from product interfaces to marketing collateral, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and prioritize improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or a related field, preferably with experience in both web and mobile applications.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including user-centered design processes, interaction design, visual design, and projects that demonstrate your ability to solve complex design challenges.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools — Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, developers, and stakeholders.
  • A willingness to embrace a varied role where tasks can change rapidly, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A passion for design, technology, and staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices.
  • A creative and innovative mindset bolstered by strong problem-solving skills.
